5 Years For ‘Stressful Sex’

KUALA LUMPUR, July 18 (Bernama) -- A husband who causes his wife to undergo mental injury, including stress, in his bid to have sex with her can be prosecuted and sentenced to a jail term of up to five years under the amended Penal Code, the Dewan Rakyat was told Tuesday.

Home Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Radzi Sheikh Ahmad said the new provision to that effect was contained under Section 375A of the Penal Code (Amendment) Bill 2004.
