
Once an online star on tianyaclub.com, the biggest online community in China, Zhang Keke, a female singer who showed her photos and songs on the website before rising to stardom, recently took the BBS portal to court, reported the Beijing Times Wednesday.
Zhang claims the website failed to conduct proper censorship on a post which indicated Zhang slept her way to an endorsement, trading her body for a deal, which, she says, damaged her reputation and caused her enormous emotional pain.

Apparently some Brazilian prostitutes are starting to use technology to increase the number of clients they receive. As Folha de Sao Paulo, the leading Brazilian newspaper, announced “the profession might be the oldest of the world, but the marketing being used is pretty new”!

A modest community television show with a suggestive title has proven irresistible to Web trawlers.
"Let's talk about sex," a half-hour segment that aired on Nevada County TeleVision on Oct. 18, has shot up in the Google video rankings since it was posted to the Web site, attracting more than 111,000 views and 4,600 downloads. The top video on Google last week attracted 470,000 views.

100's of adult movie and picture galleries across the web have been aggregated and users may download a browser RSS tool or subscribe to the feeds or they may use their own preferred RSS reader.

Talk about working blue: A local venture-capital firm recently fell prey to a hacker who took over the company's Web site and directed viewers to several porn sites instead.
Blueprint Ventures' home page said Thursday that the site is under construction and invited visitors in the meantime to enjoy "top quality" adult images through several links.

WASHINGTON - Tucked away in a spending bill pending in Congress is language the porn industry finds offensive.

A Chinese court sentenced the founder of the country’s largest pornography web site, which has 600,000 users, to life in prison.
Taiyuan Intermediate People’s Court handed down the sentence to Chen Hui, 28, for profiting from pornographic dissemination, New China News Agency said.
Chen’s other eight accomplices of the website were jailed for terms ranging from 13 months to 10 years.
Chen and his accomplices started the website in 2004 and opened three other porn websites, attracting more than 600,000 users.

A confidential analysis of Internet search queries and a random sample of Web pages taken from Google and Micrsoft's giant Internet indexes showed that only about 1 percent of all Web pages contain sexually explicit material.
The analysis was presented in a federal court hearing last week in Philadelphia in a suit brought by the American Civil Liberties Union against U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and obtained Monday by the Mercury News.

The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has brought a case against the spyware operation Media Motor, with the company and its affiliates ordered to cease their disreputable business and account for their ill-gotten funds.
Media Motor's spyware software often posed as a media viewing application, and was made available from various sites including Joysticksavers.com, a fake screensaver site, and Privateinpublic.com, which posed as a provider of voyeur pornography.

The DVLA this week dismissed 14 staff and disciplined a further 101 staff in Swansea on grounds of gross misconduct, for downloading and distributing pornographic images.
The staff concerned were found to have used the agency's electronic systems to send pornographic email attachments out of the agency, in direct contravention of DVLA's code of conduct.

BEIJING -- The trial involving China's largest pornographic website, which boasts more than 600,000 registered members, began on Wednesday.
Nine creators and organizers of the website "Qingseliuyuetian", meaning pornographic summer, are being sued at the Taiyuan Intermediate People's Court in north China's Shanxi Province.
