At $2.6 million per spot, you wouldn’t expect the folks at CBS to be too particular about whose commercials they air, as long as they pony up the big green. Turns out,
they’re a little pickier than we thought.
The folks at adult website Booble.com claim they recently got the cold shoulder from the network (probably has something to do with the Janet
Jackson “wardrobe malfunction” thing a few years back), even after they
offered to “obscenely overpay.”
“At one point I offered $50 million,” says Booble founder Bob Smart.
“The Eye never called us back.” One of the humorous spots, which is far tamer than the controversial GoDaddy Super Bowl ad from 2005, features a woman catching her husband trying to secretly check out a few adult sites.

NEW YORK (Billboard) - For producer/director John Stagliano, the music in porn films is as important as the in-your-face action on the screen. He stays on the cutting edge by using current original music in feature films, and by working directly with music supervisors.
His film "The Fashionistas," released in 2002, took home 11 Adult Video News Awards including best DVD. Earlier this month, "Fashionistas Safado" was awarded three tropies, including best group sex scene, at the annual AVN Awards ceremony in Las Vegas. "Safado: Berlin" is due later this year.
Stagliano -- known affectionately as "Buttman" in honour of his obsession with the derriere -- releases his films via his company Evil Angel, which he formed in the early '80s. These days Evil Angel has production deals with some of pornland's biggest director/producers, including John Leslie, Rocco Siffredi, Joey Silvera, Christoph Clark and Nacho Vidal. You'd think that if someone went to all the trouble to cook up something as cynical and yet so deviously inspired as "My Bare Lady," they wouldn't muck it up so much with the sort of boringly familiar reality-show tropes that appear in virtually every other competition show.
"My Bare Lady" (a brassiere is tastefully slung over its logo) features porn stars competing for the opportunity to go to London and humiliate themselves in the world of legitimate theater, a wickedly sinister conceit that allows viewers to both ogle and laugh at essentially clueless young women.

The last time I was in New York, I was just arriving at a fancy dinner when I got a phone call from my senior editor at the Internationalist.
As I excused myself and stepped into the lobby, his voice, which gets high-pitched as he gets excited, shouted at me, "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU REQUEST? THIS IS DIRRRRTY!" He and a couple other editors had broken into the huge box from Top Shelf Productions that had arrived, expecting maybe some large, art coffee-table book. Instead, they had opened up the box to discover Alan Moore's newest graphic novel, complete with pages and pages of incredibly explicit fucking.

CHANNEL 4 has an "obsession" with sex and bad behaviour, according to the broadcaster's founding chief executive.
Sir Jeremy Isaacs cited recent programmes Designer Vaginas and The World's Biggest Penis, along with a week that featured documentaries on the subject of masturbation, as evidence of the channel's decline. He also lambasted C4 for allowing Peaches Geldof, daughter of Sir Bob, to host a show about Islam.

Beyoncé and Eva Longaria have revealed they are set to star in sexy Victorian lesbian drama ‘Tipping The Velvet’.
Eva, 31, said: “Yes it’s true. We are talking about doing the movie together. It’s such a wonderful novel, a beautiful love story.” Director Sofia Coppola is hoping to bring Sarah Water’s novel about sexual repression in Victorian England to the big screen and is desperate for Beyoncé and Eva to take the roles of a 1890s music hall star, Kitty Butler, and her lesbian lover Nan Astley.
Beyoncé, 25, thinks it is time the world was treated to a classic lesbian love story. The singer, who was speaking at a New York benefit for ovarian cancer, said: “We’ve had ‘Brokeback Mountain’ so the time is right for this divine novel to get the same treatment.” Beyoncé and Eva are said to be incredibly excited about the steamy love scenes and can’t wait for filming on the project to start.
A source revealed: “They weren’t at all coy about the sex scenes. In fact they both seemed to think it would be more fun than doing the same work with a man. It’s going to be very hot.” The BBC’s TV adaptation of ‘Tipping The Velvet’ caused outrage four years ago with its graphic sex scenes, which included cross-dressing and the use of sex toys.

With the outing of Pastor Ted, this male escort doesn't think Mike Jones is a hero
Once upon a time, the first rule of being a high-priced male escort was that you didn’t talk about who’s sleeping with you, the high-priced male escort.
Simple enough, right? Since the dawn of time, when man no doubt used shells and sticks to acquire such services, the ability to “rent” your fantasy partner has worked well for the famous and for those who wanted an extra layer of anonymity.

Watch enough pornography, critics say, and ideas about sex and sexuality, and even relationships, will mirror pornography's sinister carnival, on display on television and computer screens everywhere.
"We need to do with pornography what we did with smoking and drunk driving," says James Weaver, a professor at George Mason University in Virginia who conducted some landmark research on pornography and its effects in the 1980s.
Douglas Brown at the Denver Post investigates.

Sometimes I wonder how I would feel about pornography if I hadn't seen so much of it.
My involvement with porn -- both the product and the businesses that produce and provide it -- has shifted over time. Ten years ago, soft-core images held little interest for me, and I preferred double - and triple-penetration scenes to softly lit late-night TV.
