Two UA departments discovered that hackers broke into their servers Wednesday and inundated them with links to hundreds of Web sites containing pornographic material.
Computer servers at the philosophy department and the Large Binocular Telescope Observatory were the only ones affected by the intrusion, said Jim Slagle, project manager of the LBT.

Five Martinsville firefighters will undergo lie detector tests as their department tries to determine who ordered pay-per-view pornography at a firehouse in May, 6News' Jeremy Brilliant reported Wednesday.
Fire Chief Tim Fraker said 17 movies, most of them pornographic, were ordered from a cable service and watched during regular shifts in late May.

Internet access for the public at the Mount Clemens Public Library has been revoked because of an increase in the number of people looking at sexually explicit material.
The plug was pulled on the computers earlier this month after employees noticed a "large increase" in visitors using the free Internet service to access what the library termed obscene material in violation of library policies.

The 2003 Lawrence v. Texas Supreme Court ruling was a victory for GLBT and sex positive activists everywhere.
Two consenting adults were now allowed to have any type of sex they wanted within the confines of their own homes. But as the news hit the masses, several people pondered how this ruling would affect anti-prostitution legislation, as well as laws prohibiting sex in public spaces. I guess they imagined that once people were allowed to do whatever they wanted, they would do it wherever they wanted.

A California couple are facing federal charges after allegedly taking membership in the mile-high club a little too seriously.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Eyewitness News has learned high-ranking Orlando police officers admitted under oath they were emailing each other pornography on city time on city computers. Channel 9 found out about the pornographic emails because of a lawsuit filed against the police department by five officers.
The lawsuit claims the five officers were sexually harassed at work and, on top of that, they faced retaliation for reporting it.
