Five people have been charged with smuggling people into the UK for prostitution.
Three women and two men are in police custody after being arrested in raids on premises in Surrey, Kent and London.
They appeared before magistrates in Reigate on Monday and will appear at Guildford Crown Court today.
They are charged with human trafficking for sexual exploitation, false imprisonment and controlling prostitution for gain.
The five are: Vincent Calleja, 44, from Beechen Lane, Lower Kingswood, Ian Lindsey, 43, of Brighton Road, Tadworth, Maxine Soper, 24, of Fleetwood Close, Tadworth, Danielle Ghitulan, 18, of Beechen Lane,Lower Kingswood, and Cherice McIntosh, 20, of Beckenham.
